my story

My first semester in college I had a class called Interpersonal Communications, and my world was forever changed.  I realized that the words we use change us, impact others, and deserve attention and care.  Over the years as a business performance coach and facilitator, I’ve found that effective relationships and business success always circles back to communication.  My goal is that a presentation communicates the intended message, aligns with values and brand of the speaker, and builds confidence for the speaker and the receiver.  The adage, “You only get one chance to make a good first impression” still holds true.

EDUCATION

what is your Favorite food?

I’m a foodie for sure, so this is a tough one. I’m currently obsessed with Brussel sprouts and kalamata olives.

if you weren't a training professional, what would you be?

An easy one…a talk show host!  I love learning about other people and their perspectives.

Hidden talent

Thanks to being on the drill team in high school, I can smile and move my arms in formation while marching.

Tell a story about something that makes you laugh

A friend and I do this silly thing where we hashtag everything we send to each other via social media and text.  The hashtags don’t mean anything to anyone else, but to us they are hysterically funny.  It got even funnier to us recently when I meant to send “trustingGod” and it came out “resusingGkd”.  This has become our new favorite hashtag and we both crack up over it all the time. #weareourbiggestfans
