Raising the Bar – Advanced Presentation Skills

2Connect’s one-day Raising the Bar - Advance Presentations Skills is designed to advance good presenters into great presenters by increasing their effectiveness, regardless of audience, content or setting. Whether the aim is to influence decision makers, encourage change or conduct an impromptu presentation with aplomb, presenters completing this workshop leave with a new found confidence and awareness.

Approach

Participants will have an opportunity to practice delivering three different types of presentations (mirroring their professional environment), be video recorded, and receive group feedback and professional one-on-one coaching. Each session will include the following:

  • Pre-work email, outlining how to prepare for the program
  • Analysis of recognized presenters
  • Observation of instructors modeling effective presentation strategies
  • Multiple opportunities to practice through drills, exercises and presentations
  • Peer feedback and analysis
  • Video recording and a detailed professional, customized coaching
  • Electronic copies of tools and templates introduced in the session for continued use

Objectives

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Raise the bar and deliver a variety of presentations
  • Present confidently regardless of setting
  • Structure compelling, audience-focused presentations with PowerPoint®
  • Deliver credibly both with and without PowerPoint®
